Taittinger remains one of the few champagne houses to remain owned and actively managed by the family on the label. Its origins date back to 1734, when the original house was founded by Jacques Fourneaux.
The main feature of Champagne Taittinger is the high percentage of Chardonnay, which can reach 40% in the Réserve Brut Non Vintage, and 100% in the prestigious Comtes de Champagne Blanc de Blancs. This Chardonnay prevalence ensures an elegant style, delicacy and finesse that is recognized worldwide, and earned many awards over the years.
