Please read carefully these Terms and Conditions, which are intended to regulate the purchase of products and services in the Loja do Vinho by Agrovinhos, the online store of Agrovinhos - Vinhos e Produtos Agrícolas, Lda, headquartered at Rua Fradesso da Silveira, 45/57, 1300-260 Lisboa, with NIF / NIPC 500790507, hereinafter called Loja do Vinho.
When you make purchases at the Loja do Vinho, it means that the costumer accept these Terms and Conditions.
1. Legal age for making purchases
When making purchases at the Loja do Vinho, the user declares that they are of legal age to purchase alcoholic beverages in their country of origin, as well as not having any other legal impediment to buying alcoholic beverages.
2. Accuracy and updating of information
The Loja do Vinho will do everything possible so that the products, prices and other contents of this online store are always accurate.
If in any circumstance it is not possible to make available any of the products requested by the customer, or some information is inaccurate or out of date, whether due to human error or computer error, the Loja do Vinho will contact the customer by email or telephone, and the customer will have the possibility to decide if want to change or cancel the order, receiving a refund in case the payment have already been made.
The Loja do Vinho reserves the right to change, without prior notice and at any time, all contents of this online store, including products, prices, promotions, services and terms of sale and use.
The images that illustrate each product in the Loja do Vinho may differ from the product delivered.
Any of the products presented in this online store is subject to stock disruptions. In case there is a stock break in some product ordered, the Wine Shop by Agrovinhos will contact the customer, informing the situation and proposing alternatives. The customer can then decide to change or cancel the order, receiving a refund in case he has already paid.
Under Portuguese law, all prices presented by the Loja do Vinho include their respective VAT rates.
The promotions in the Loja do Vinho may not apply to the physical stores of Agrovinhos.
3. Orders, Payments and Shipping
3.1. - Orders
After the order is completed, the customer receives a confirmation e-mail, in the e-mail address he has provided, with the details of the chosen products, payments and shipping costs. We recommend that you confirm all information in order to avoid errors. In case the order has already been shipped, the situation will have to be analyzed by the Loja do Vinho in order to find a solution.
When an order can not be satisfied, in part or in full, the Loja do Vinho will contact the customer in order to find the best solution.

In case the customer has already paid the order, and if it has not yet been shipped, the Loja do Vinho will refund the customer the entire amount paid. In case the customer wishes to cancel the order after it has already been shipped, the refunded value will be deducted from the shipping and return costs, ie 2 (two) times the shipping costs paid.
Any order is processed only after payment, except for the orders with option of withdrawal and payment in the physical stores of Agrovinhos.
In the case of payment by bank transfer, the sending of the transfer proof is considered as non-binding information, so the order will only be processed after the availability of the transferred amounts in the Agrovinhos bank account, which usually takes 1 to 5 business days.
All orders placed at the Loja do Vinho whose payment has not been made within a maximum of 15 days will be canceled.
3.2. Payments
The Loja do Vinho by Agrovinhos accepts the following payment methods:
- Multibanco Reference
- Bank transfer;
- PayPal;
- Directly in the physical store of Agrovinhos;
The currency used for payments is the Euro. Any conversion fees for payments made in other currencies will always be payed by the customer.
3.3. Shipping costs
At the price of each product adds the value of the shipping costs, which is calculated taking into account the weight of the order and its destination of delivery. The customer can simulate the value of the goods in the shopping cart by adding the desired products and filling in the necessary fields indicated (Country, Postal Code and Payment Method).
The delivery value also appears automatically at the end of the purchase.
4. Deliveries
4.1 Indicative transit time for parcels
After the processing and shipping of the orders, the delivery takes on average (estimated time):
- Lisbon: same day or the next day;
- Continental Portugal: 2 working days;
- Azores and Madeira: 5 to 10 working days;
- Europe: 4 to 10 working days;
- Rest of the World: on request.
These delivery times are purely indicative and may vary due to events outside the control of Loja do Vinho.
After the shipment of the order, the customer receives an email informing the number of the shipment and a link to follow up his order. 4.2. Order Tracking Link
We recommend that you track your order through the link and shipping number provided so that you kept informed of the status of your order until delivery, as the Loja do Vinho by rule does not notify customers of each change shipping status.
4.3. How deliveries are processed
The orders of the Loja do Vinho are sent through carriers, that is, companies specialized in the transport of goods.
As a rule the carrier only makes an attempt to deliver to the customer's address, so we recommend choosing a delivery address where someone is always to receive the order. If you do not are at the address at the time of delivery, you will be notified by telephone and / or postal mail in order to know how to proceed with the collection of your order at the store closest to your address.
The carrier only makes deliveries on business days and working hours, it is not possible to schedule deliveries with time or day marked, nor at weekends or holidays.
4.4. Checking the order on arrival / damage to the products
When the order arrive, the customer must immediately check the products received.
In case the order arrives damaged, you must return it at the same time to the carrier, justifying the reason for the return in the documents of the carrier. If you find any anomalies after delivery, you should immediately contact the Loja do Vinho, indicating the order number and attaching pictures of the packaging and the articles as they arrived, so that we can solve the situation as soon as possible.
4.5. Meeting deadlines
For deliveries in Portugal and in other countries, the Loja do Vinho contracts the transport services to suitable and responsible companies, with several years of experience in the sector. Meeting deadlines is a priority; however, there may be situations unrelated to the wishes of the Loja do Vinho that result in delays in meeting the indicative deadlines presented, and for which the Loja do Vinho can not be responsible.
We recommend that you place your order in advance, so that it is possible to cover any delay in delivery, especially at festive times, when the volume of orders is generally higher.
The Loja do Vinho is not responsible for sending orders to countries where the respective Law does not allow the entry of alcoholic beverages, any apprehension of the order, or customs fees that may be charged in the country of destination.
Resolving with Customs or paying such fees is the exclusive responsibility of the customer.
In case the order is returned, the Loja do Vinho only refunds to the customer the amount spent with the products.

5. Right of withdrawal / Return Policy
Under Decree-Law Nº133 / 2001, article 6, revised by Decree-Law No. 82/2008 of May 20 of Portuguese law, the customer has the right to terminate the contracts entered into with Agrovinhos, Lda. Through the products acquired within 14 days and in accordance with current legislation, without indicating any reason.
To return items, you must send us an email to [email protected], indicating the order number and invoice number, taking into account the following conditions:
- The products must be in perfect condition and in the original packaging, in the same conditions in which they were sent and without marks or evidences of use;
- The cost of returning the products is supported by the customer;
- In the case of defective products or wrong shipments, the Loja do Vinho will be responsible for the shipping and collection costs, whenever the customer informs Loja do Vinho within a maximum period of 14 days from the date of receipt of the product.
Upon receipt and verification of the product at our facilities, the Loja do Vinho will refund its value by the modality used by the customer, or by another previously agreed upon. In the case of payments made by Multibanco Reference, the refund will be made by bank transfer to the NIB / IBAN provided by the client.
When the return is due to defects of origin or raw material, and after reception and verification at our facilities, we will exchange the product at no cost to the customer.
We warn that in the purchase of old wines, it must be taken into account that, since wine is a natural product subject to bottle aging, it changes its flavors, which may not please all consumers, even if they are in a condition to consume. The Loja do Vinho takes special care with the conditions of conservation of the wines that it has in stock, but can not guarantee that its evolution inside the bottle will please all the buyers.
Returns of used or modified products are not accepted.
6. Electronic Complaint Book
Agrovinhos - Vinhos e Produtos Agrícolas Lda., owner of this online Wine Shop, informs that under the Law, and besides having a Complaints Book in its physical stores, it also has an Electronic Complaints Book, which can be accessed in the site www.livroderaclamações.pt.
The Electronic Complaints Book allows consumers and users, among other tools, to submit complaints in a dematerialized manner, with the same value as complaints presented in physical format.
7. Applicable law
Purchases made at the Loja do Vinho are subject to Portuguese legislation. Any conflict or divergence of interpretation of these Terms and Conditions of sale online will be submitted to a competent Portuguese court.
In case the customer resides outside Continental Portugal, the Loja do Vinho informs that any legal process must be exclusively established in the Portuguese courts.
These Terms and Conditions can be changed without prior notice, so the customer must consult them before making any purchase.
