PORTO ROYAL OPORTO LBV (LATE BOTTLED VINTAGE)

Late Bottled Vintage Ports are excellent quality Port wines, originating from a single vintage indicated on the label. Bottled between the fourth and sixth year after the harvest, LBV Ports, unlike Vintage Ports, benefit from considerable aging in oak vats, which provides a smoother palate, ideal for consumption while young. Royal Oporto LBV embodies the classic style of Real Companhia Velha Ports. The grapes come from two of the Company's estates: the old vines of Quinta das Carvalhas provide structure and complexity, while the Touriga Nacional from Quinta de Cidrô brings great elegance to the blend.
