Martini was born from the partnership between two highly skilled men: Alessandro Martini, possessing an entrepreneurial spirit, and Luigi Rossi, a master craftsman. The two men met in Turin in the mid-19th century, when both worked for a company specializing in the production and sale of wines, vermouth, and liqueurs.

During this period, Alessandro and Luigi worked together to develop a formula for a smoother and more consistent aromatic wine than those already existing. In 1863, they launched their masterpiece on the market and almost immediately obtained global acclaim, resulting in the founding of the Martini company.
