Grainha is the seed of the plant that is responsible for preserving its characteristics so that life can flourish from it - the essence of nature. Inspired by the grape seed, from which it is possible to obtain the fundamental compounds of a wine, such as proteins, condensed tannins and aromatic extracts, the Grainha Reserva duo was born. Year after year they maintain the profile of a deeper, more gastronomic Douro, matured in wood, complex on the nose, well-structured on the palate and revealing a very special precision.

Gouveio, Viosinho, Rabigato and Fernão Pires

AGING: 
7 months in barrels, fortnightly “batonnage” during the first 3 months of ageing.
