PORTO RAMOS PINTO LÁGRIMA RUBY RED
A versatile bottled wine full of red fruits.
GRAPES:
Tinta Barroca, Tinta Roriz and Tinto Cão.
VINIFICATION AND AGEING:
As the name suggests, Lágrima Ruby comes from the tears of red Port wine. During fermentation, the grapes undergo light maceration, which is interrupted early in order to preserve the primary aromas.
TASTING NOTES:
Olfactory Aspect: The aroma is fresh, lively, with nuances of grapes, cherries, currants, sour cherries, raspberries and hints of citrus fruits.
Taste: The palate is very velvety, with very light touches of silky tannins, and a very long finish, with flavors of lively red fruits and citrus fruits.
PARING:
An original wine, which you can drink simply chilled or with ice and a slice of lemon, with tonic water or orange juice.
