PORT FERREIRA WHITE

Porto Ferreira Branco is a classic White Port, an attractive and rich wine, with the genuine flavor of the best wines produced in the Douro region with the care and knowledge accumulated over more than 270 years of excellence.

TASTING NOTE:
Bright straw yellow color. Fresh and intense aroma, with elegant floral nuances and expressive notes of ripe white and tropical fruits. The aging in wood adds complexity and depth, revealing delicate hints of dried fruits. In the mouth, it stands out for its balance, with well-integrated acidity, a smooth and enveloping texture, and a long and harmonious finish.

VINIFICATION
After manual harvesting, the grapes are destemmed, crushed and vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. Maceration facilitates the extraction of essential compounds that give color, aroma and flavor to wine. Fermentation is interrupted by the addition of wine spirit, a fundamental step in the Port wine production process.

MATURATION
The wines are aged in the Ferreira cellars, in Vila Nova de Gaia, in traditional oak barrels and vats. During this period, they are frequently subjected to transfers, analyses and tests, allowing their evolution to be monitored. After aging, the final batch is prepared based on a careful selection of wines, and is then
clarified and stabilized before bottling.
