PORT RAMOS PINTO LÁGRIMA WHITE

Ramos Pinto House was founded in 1880 and maintains the firm determination of the founder Adriano Ramos Pinto, producing and selecting the best grapes of the Douro Wine Region.
Straw color, smells like floral, chamomile, orange blossom and hints of honey. Taste foppish, with ripe fruit, with fresh intensity. Final fat mouth and persistent. Serve cool.

Within the Port is the sweetest. It tears the little fermented wort, so with plenty of sugar - about 136 grams per liter.
To balance this taste sweet, are used very ripe white grapes (Codega, Rabigato, Viozinho) to convey the wine taste fruity aroma and enough power to harmonize the flavors of sweet / fruit.
It is made with cold skin maceration prior to ferment.
These methods give you strength, body, aroma and flavors are very complex, almost exotic. The finish is full and lingering. It is drunk fresh (+ / - 12), with tapas, poking here and there, or as input to get a good meal for a plate of olives and cold meats.

Vinification: Grapes from areas where they reach high degree of maturity and subject to strong skin maceration, according to the ancient tradition of the Port.

TASTING NOTES: Color predominantly gold. Within your fruit and sweetness characteristic aromas from floral, chamomile and orange blossom, with hints of honey. Foppish taste, glycerin, with ripe fruit, surrounded by a fresh intensity. After taste-tasting fat and persistent, with a nice touch of honey.

DINING & GUARD: Ideal as an aperitif, goes very well with a foie gras, a starter, a salad of grilled squid in vinaigrette or a dessert. It should be served chilled, between 8 to 10 º C. Keep the bottle upright in a cool, dry and protected from light.
