MINGORRA LATE HARVEST
The Semillon variety is at the heart of the world's finest noble rot wines. At Herdade da Mingorra, it was planted in 2008 on a 2.5-hectare plot in schist soil. In 2011, we inoculated the Botrytis cinerea fungus with the intention of achieving the desired noble rot, and since then it has developed naturally in this Semillon plot. In the 2021 vintage, we allowed the grapes to ripen until mid-October, carefully harvesting the berries dehydrated by Botrytis. The result was an intense, deep, and elegant Late Harvest wine of enormous uniqueness. Each bottle of this wine carries the richness of our land of partridges.

TASTING NOTES
It has a beautiful golden color and an intense and deep aroma, where notes of candied orange peel, floral touches, and a nuance of damp earth from the Botrytis appear. On the palate it is dense and unctuous, complex and elegant, well harmonized by the citric acidity that balances the sweetness. The finish is very long and persistent.
