Jägermeister is an alcoholic beverage produced in Germany since 1935. It is the ninth most consumed distillate in the world. Jägermeister is composed of 56 herbs, fruits and roots that make it a unique, exotic and versatile drink, which can be consumed pure well frozen, accompanying your beer or another drink of your choice. Its origin is registered between the period of the world wars between 1917 and 1945, in which the drink was produced by German hunters, among the ingredients are diverse herbs, fruits, roots and seasonings. Unlike urban legend, moose or deer blood are not part of the composition of the drink.

Its versatility offers the most varied combinations, the most famous being the "JägerBomb" in the world, where a shot of Jägermeister is dropped into a glass of beer or, as has become more common recently, in an energy drink .

Storage Tips: Instructions

1 Place the Jägermeister bottle in the freezer compartment. It will not freeze because of its alcohol content. Keep it in the freezer until ready to serve. You can set the freezer to maximum power to ensure that the drink will be cool as at the recommended temperature, but storing it at normal temperature will suffice.

2 Store in a cool, dark place. Alternatively, you can store it outside the freezer until a few hours before serving. Some prefer to drink warm Jägermeister. Keeping it at room temperature and refilling it before serving will not damage the drink.

3 You can also store it in the fridge. Serve ice cream directly from the refrigerator or place it in the freezer in advance to refresh it further before serving. Try different methods and temperatures to determine the best way to taste Jägermeister.

The drink is wrapped in oak and pine barrels for 45 months before being bottled. In East Germany, Jagermeister was used as an anti-hemorrhagic and fuel for lamps.
