Porto Lágrima represents one of the oldest traditions in the production of White Port Wine. Its pronounced sweetness and liqueur-like texture are the result of an early interruption in fermentation, thus producing a very concentrated white Port, full of fruity aromas, and which offers enormous satisfaction when served chilled.

Malvasia Fina, Donzelinho, Viosinho, Gouveio

VINIFICATION AND AGEING:
Port Wines dedicated to Porto Lagrima batches begin to
fermentation in autovinifiers with skin contact until fermentation is interrupted by adding wine spirit. Candidates for the batch then age in oak vats for a period of 2 years.

TASTING NOTES:
Golden-hued wine demonstrating concentration and liquorice. A wine of enormous aromatic intensity and freshness, with aromas of raisins and complexity provided by the aging in wood. Sweet and structured, full of fruity flavors with a long, persistent finish.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:
Store the bottles in a cool place (16ºC) and away from light.

PARING:
Enjoy this Port Lágrima as an aperitif, as a companion to Foie Gras or served with puff pastry sweets.
