GRAPES
97% Syrah; 3% Viogner

VINIFICATION
The grapes, from our Quinta da Cabreira, in the - Upper Douro, were transported in plastic food boxes and subjected to a rigorous screening at the entrance of the winery. After a total destemming and a slight crushing the must was transferred to stainless steel fermentation tanks with controlled temperature.

AGEING
Crasto Superior Syrah interned in French oak barrels, where he stayed for about 16 months.

TASTING NOTES
With a loaded ruby colour, of excellent aromatic expression that surprises in the nose by the intense
floral notes, well integrated with aromas of ripe berries and fine spices. In the mouth it starts from
harmonious way, evolving into a wine of great seriousness , where we find a structure
Compact, fine-textured tannins. Finishes elegant and with excellent presence. Crasto Superior
Syrah is a seductive wine that keeps a fresh and elegant profile, with an excellent potential of
bottle ageing
