Quinta do Gradil Viosinho White
History
With a long history that dates back to the 18th century, in one of the best terroirs of the Lisbon region, the wines from Quinta do Gradil reflect the experience of the past combined with the advanced technology of the present.
Enology
Tiago Correia & António Ventura.
Grape varieties
Viosinho.
Viticulture
The soils are of a clayey nature, with some sandy-clayey spots and good drainage. The wide slopes at the foot of the Serra de Montejunto give it excellent solar exposure and its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean gives it a natural acidity.
Vinification
Fermentation takes place in small stainless steel vats, at a temperature of 16ºC.
Tasting Notes
The colour resembles a golden citrine and the aroma and flavour are serious and deep, with notes of honey and apricot. It also stands out the mineral character and the crisp and fresh acidity.
