THE WINE
Vinha Grande Branco is the first white wine from Casa Ferreirinha. It is characterized by its aromatic intensity, which defines it in a very elegant way. Vinha Grande Branco reveals in its best all the
potential of the Douro region in the production of high quality blended white wines.

TASTING NOTES
Brilliant color with greenish nuances. The aroma is intense and complex, with floral notes of orange blossom and fresh violets very evident, white fruits such as pear, stone fruits such as apricot, and well integrated wood. In the mouth it is voluminous, with lively acidity, confirming the presence of of white fruit and stone fruit notes already identified on the nose. Its end is long and quite
harmonious.

ENOLOGY: Luis Sottomayor

VINIFICATION
Grapes of selected grape varieties coming from vineyards, planted at 600 m of altitude, from the Quinta do Sairrão. After soft destemming, the grapes are submitted to a pellicular maceration and
then pressed and the resulting must is subject to static decantation. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in stainless steel vats and French oak barrels, with controlled temperature.

MATURING
After the alcoholic fermentation, maturation follows in stainless steel vats (50%) and in new barrels of French oak (50%), for a period of about 8 months. The final blend is elaborated, based on
in the selections made during the numerous tests and analyses carried out in this period. É submitted to clarification and stabilization treatment before bottling.

GUARD
Despite being ready to drink, Vinha Grande Branco benefits from a bottle stage between 3 to 5 years. However, it remains at its best for several years. Keep the bottle in position horizontal, sheltered from light and heat.

SERVE
It does not need to be decanted. Serve between 10ºC-12ºC.

DESFRUCT:
Ideal to accompany fish, seafood and white meat dishes.
